Firm Rules

Key rules and guidelines for traders

Major Firm Rules & Trading Parameters

  • Stop Loss Rule:

    • A mandatory Stop Loss (SL) is required at the time of order execution for all trades.

    • Executing a trade without a Stop Loss results in a soft breach (the system automatically closes the un-slotted trade without failing the account).

    • Note: The SL requirement can be removed via an account add-on during checkout (except on DXtrade).

  • News Trading:

    • Allowed on all accounts during evaluation and funded stages.

    • Restriction: Reckless behavior (e.g., executing "all-or-nothing" maximum lot size gambles specifically during high-impact news releases) is prohibited under toxic trading practices.

  • Expert Advisors (EAs) & Automated Trading:

    • Allowed (including indicators and copy trading between your own personal accounts).

    • Prohibited: Publicly available commercial off-the-shelf EAs used identically across hundreds of traders, tick-scalping, arbitrage, or latency abuse.

  • Weekend & Overnight Holding:

    • Allowed across FX, Indices, Metals, and Crypto.

Drawdown & Loss Rules

  • 1-Step Evaluation:

    • Daily Drawdown: 5% (Calculated daily based on starting day balance/equity).

    • Maximum Drawdown: 7% (Static limit from initial starting balance).

  • 3-Step Evaluation:

    • Daily Drawdown: None (0%).

    • Maximum Drawdown: 5% (Static limit from initial starting balance).

  • Instant Funding:

    • Daily Drawdown: 5%.

    • Maximum Drawdown: 8% (Trailing drawdown until initial capital balance is reached, then locks in as static).

Consistency Rules

Consistency Rules

  • Consistency Target: No Consistency Rule (0%) required on Evaluation or Funded accounts. Traders are not required to spread profits evenly across multiple trading days to request a payout.

  • Minimum Trading Days: 0 Days across all program types (1-Step, 2-Step, 3-Step, and Instant Funding). You can pass an evaluation phase in a single day if target criteria are met.

7. Are EAs (Expert Advisors) and Algorithmic Trading allowed?

8. Can I hold trades overnight and over the weekend?

Yes. Holding positions overnight and through weekends is allowed across FX, Metals, Indices, Commodities, and Cryptos.

9. What is the standard profit split?

10. How often can I request a payout?

First Payout: Eligible 14 days after making the first trade on a funded account. Subsequent Payouts: Every 14 days (bi-weekly).

11. What withdrawal methods are supported?

Payouts are processed via Rise (Riseworks), allowing traders to withdraw directly into their local bank account or preferred cryptocurrency.

12. What are the drawdown rules for 1-Step Evaluations?
